SOTU From a Dictator

I did not watch Obama's State of the Union address but I did read the transcript and what I noticed was quite disturbing to me. First he prefaced it with a statement saying he will bypass congress whenever he sees the need.

"So wherever and whenever I can take steps without legislation to expand opportunity for more American families, that's what I'm going to do".

He basically seemed to be telling us what he was going to do. Here is another example:

"In the coming months, I'll build on that success by setting new standards for our trucks, so we can keep driving down oil imports and what we pay at the pump".

This is contrary to article 1, section 1 of the constitution.

"All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives".

In short the president does not have the power to make or change laws.

One of the most disturbing examples of this was when he said this:

"So tonight, I've asked Vice President Biden to lead an across-the-board reform of America's training programs to make sure they have one mission:
train Americans with the skills employers need, and match them to good jobs that need to be filled right now.
... And if Congress wants to help, you can concentrate funding on proven programs that connect more ready-to-work Americans with ready-to-be-filled jobs".

That's right, he said "if" congress "wants" to help. He didn't ask congress to pass a law to do this, he said he was going to do it and congress could help "if" they wanted.  He basically reduced congress to volunteer status.

These are not the words of a president of a representative republic but the words of a dictator!

Wealth Creation vs Earning Wealth

People don't have to rely on others to pay them! They are capable of creating their own wealth! That's one thing that separates humans from animals! Wealth is not a limited thing that must be distributed amongst a population! Wealth is something each person is capable of creating for himself! He does not need to draw it from others or from a limited pool! The founders were protecting this individual creation of wealth when they declared humans to have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and they were guarding against the regulation of this creation of wealth in the Bill of Rights! The founders new that a central government distributing wealth would lead to major corruption! That's why thy said 'pursuit' of happiness instead of just a right to happiness! Of course there are those who are incapable of creating sustaining wealth! Some of these being the very young and the very old, the sick and the disabled. It's not up to the government to care for these but up to friends and family! But in America today an erosion of morals and family values has destroyed the family! That's why the founders said the type of freedom provided by the constitution could only be attained and guarded by a moral people! Our country would be in much better shape if these principles were still taught in schools!

Why are so many people worried about what might happen if the government shuts down? Why do we need to spend trillions to avoid it when it happens for 2 days every week plus 11 government holidays every year? Every year the nonessential government offices are shut down for a total of 115 days! That is almost 1/3 of the year! What is the big deal with racing to get these "continuing resolutions" passed to avoid a government shut down?

How the U.S.A. fits into the Communist Manifesto
By Micah C. McConnaughey, 2012

The following are ten points mentioned in section II of the Communist Manifesto that are needed to “revolutionize the mode of production”, and are “pretty generally applicable to the most advanced countries”. They are described as “despotic inroads on the rights of property and on the conditions of production”.  Each point is followed by a list of things that may, at least in part, fit into the recommendation(s) of that point.

1.   The abolition of property in land, and the application of all rents of land to public purposes.
-Fair Housing Act
-State run low income housing
-Eminent Domain
-EPA

2.   A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
-The left's call to “tax the rich”. (The Buffet Rule)
-47% of the population pays no income tax.

3.   Abolition of all right of inheritance.
-Estate tax
-Death tax

4.   Confiscation of property of all immigrants and rebels.
-Eminent Domain

5.   Centralization of credit in the hand of the state by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.
-The Federal Reserve
-Doing away with the gold standard

6.   Centralization of means of communication and transport in the hands of the state.
-The FCC
-Calls to regulate talk radio and the internet.
-The left's push for mass transit (light rail, high speed trains, focus on infrastructure)

7.   Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of wastelands, and improvement of the soil generally in accordance with common plan
-EPA
-OSHA
-GE, GM, etc...
-Agenda 21

8.   Equal liability of all to labor. Establishments of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.

9.   Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equable distribution of the population over the country.
-FDA
-EPA
-Agenda 21

10.   Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labor in it's present form. Combination of education with industrial production.

Supreme Court Ruling Favors Imigrants

"A unanimous Supreme Court said Monday that undocumented workers who use phony IDs can't be considered identity thieves without proof that they knew they were stealing real people's Social Security and other numbers". So said the Denver Post on 5/5/09.

Whether or not the identity info belonged to an actual person I think most people know when they are getting a fake identity. Isn't using a fake identity illegal whether or not you stole it or bought a made-up one? Why do we give so much leeway to non citizens who broke our law just by the way they got into our country and then knowingly got a fake identity. They broke our laws, they deserve the consequences. They are not citizens so they should have no real rites in our country.
